AGAINST THE GRAIN's mission is to provide our area with a fully rounded book arts space. ATG is comprised of two rooms totaling almost 1100 square feet. With extensive work tables, a large board shear and guillotine, various presses for distinct purposes, and a reference library, we hope to serve the bookbinding community. Classes, supplies, studio time, restoration and repair are among the services offered.

Hours

ATG’s hours are usually 11-6 Monday-Friday. Saturdays are by appointment only, unless there’s a class going on and we’re here anyway. Please call for an appointment if these hours don’t work for you. Also, I do STRONGLY urge you to call first in case I’m running off to do some errands or teaching a class elsewhere.
